Kingman Police arrested Travis N. Tsosie, 27 of Tempe, Friday, Dec. 16, on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a probation violation warrant. Tsosie was the driver of a vehicle stopped around 2:20 a.m. in the 1100 block of Stockton Hill Road for a traffic offense. Tsosie was found to have a warrant for probation violation issued out of the Mohave County Sheriff's Office. He was also reportedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia. A female passenger, 21 of Kingman, was found to have a contempt of court warrant for her arrest. Both were booked into Mohave County jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Richard L Palomera, 23, of Kingman, Saturday, Dec. 17 for aggravated DUI, aggravated DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08 percent and aggravated DUI with a blood alcohol concentration at or above .15 percent, felonies. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling 49 miles per hour in a posted 35 mph zone around 1:35 a.m. and saw the car turn into a parking lot in the 3200 block of Stockton Hill Road where deputies contacted Palomera, the driver. Deputies reportedly smelled an odor of alcohol on Palomera, who allegedly admitted to having a few beers earlier. A records check showed Palomera to have a suspended driver's license for a prior DUI. Following the field sobriety tests, Palomera was arrested and transported to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office, where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .194 percent. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Codi Wayne Bruce-Lambert, 19, of Kingman, Saturday, Dec. 17 for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, and making a false report to law enforcement, a misdemeanor. Deputies contacted a male subject riding a bicycle in the area of Norrie Drive and Shaeffer Avenue around 8:30 a.m. The male subject reportedly falsely identified himself. Later, deputies located an identification card on the ground where the male subject was standing. The identification card, which had a photo, identified the male subject to be Bruce-Lambert. Deputies observed Bruce-Lambert with a backpack and did a consent search, which reportedly revealed a plastic bag containing marijuana residue and a second plastic bag containing a white crystal substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine. Bruce-Lambert was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Ronnie Fred Madrid, 47, of Kingman, Saturday, Dec. 17 for felony possession of drug paraphernalia, along with two misdemeanor warrants issued by Kingman Justice Court for failure to appear and failure to pay fines. Deputies contacted Madrid at a residence in the 3600 block of Oriole Lane around 11:30 a.m. regarding his active warrants. Madrid was arrested without incident. A search of Madrid reportedly revealed a small plastic bag containing a white crystal residue. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Kingman Police Department arrested Amanda Marie Heins, 23, of Kingman, Saturday, Dec. 17 on a felony charge of trafficking in stolen property and misdemeanor shoplifting. Heins was arrested at a supermarket in the 3100 block Stockton Hill Road after employees reportedly observed her concealing DVDs. It was later learned that Heins had also stolen DVDs the previous day and sold them to a nearby DVD retailer. Heins was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
