Number of candidates for presidential preference election grows

ARIZONA - The number of candidates for the Presidential Preference Election in February has turned from a trickle to a flood. Eleven new candidates have filed to be placed on the ballot. The majority of candidates are filing for the Republican ballot including: Wayne Charles Arnett from Tempe, Donald Benjamin from Phoenix, Mark Callahan from Springfield, Ore., Thomas Hough from Flagstaff, Jason Noble from San Diego, Al "Dick" Perry from Tucson, Jay Porter from San Diego, David Rolland from San Diego, Mitt Romney from Boston and Rick Santorum from Great Falls, Va. One new Green Party candidate, Michael Oatman from Tucson, has also filed.
