KRMC slates open house for cardio center

KINGMAN - The Kingman Regional Medical Center Cardiovascular Center hosts an open house from 1-3 p.m. Feb. 17 to celebrate National Heart Month and the success of the state-of-the-art facility.

Light refreshments, including a cookie buffet, will be provided. Various vendors will be on-site to provide information about stents and other supplies used during cardiovascular procedures.

The 12,400-square-foot center has two digital cardiac catheterization rooms with dedicated pre- and post-procedure areas. Visitors will be able to tour the facility, enjoy refreshments and receive educational materials about heart health.

The original catheterization lab at Kingman Regional Medical Center was opened in 1994, with an expansion in 2000. The new Cardiovascular Center opened its doors to its first patients on Nov. 13, 2007.
