KINGMAN - The Kingman Regional Medical Center Foundation and Kingman OB/GYN Associates host the First Annual Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball to raise money for improvements to the KRMC Perinatal Unit. The improvements include a fetal monitoring telemetry unit, a hydrotherapy tub and a private lounge for mothers in early stages of labor. The Foundation is working to raise approximately $125,000 to cover the cost, which will provide an improved experience for parents when they come to KRMC for the birth of their child.
The Mardi Gras (formal or costume attire) is a start in the fundraising efforts. This event will be held starting at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Old Elks building in downtown Kingman. Tickets are $50 for a single and $80 for a couple.
The doors will open at 6 p.m. with a no-host bar sponsored by the Cellar Door and a silent auction. A gourmet dinner will be catered by Siren's Café and music provided by LA Sounds Entertainment. Every guest will receive a complimentary mask and a commemorative photo from Off Broadway Photography.
