Golden Valley man suspected of robbing GV bank

GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies and detectives responded to a robbery at the National Bank of Arizona Thursday at about 1:43 p.m. No one was injured during the robbery. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

While en route, dispatch informed units that the suspect fled in a black older model Chevrolet truck with an Arizona license plate. deputies scanned the Golden Valley area and identified a vehicle matching the description. They attempted to make contact with the driver, but he fled. A pursuit then ensued with multiple units responding and continued for approximately 15 minutes. During the pursuit, the suspect lost control of his vehicle and spun out. The driver then fled on foot.

The suspect was located around 2:45 p.m. behind a rock cropping near a hill in the area of Tapeats Drive and Guthrie Road. He was identified as Keith Brandon Coggins, 28, of Golden Valley. Coggins was taken into custody and transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center where he is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries. He will be charged with felony robbery and theft.
