Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Aaron Rudy Duarte, 27, of Los Angeles Jan. 21 for possession of a weapon in a drug offense and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling 49 miles per hour in a posted 35 mph zone around 1:07 a.m. and conducted a traffic stop in the area of Northern Avenue and Van Nuys Road. Deputies contacted the driver, identified as Duarte, and said they immediately smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the inside of the vehicle. During conversations with Duarte, he reportedly admitted to having a pipe in the center console. A search of the vehicle revealed a blue glass pipe with residue. A handgun was also located. Duarte was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Rocky Joe Creek, 27, of Kingman Jan. 21 for felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies observed a male subject walking in the area of Lum Avenue near Jimmie Drive around 8:32 a.m. As deputies drove closer to the male subject, he reportedly put the hood of his sweatshirt over his head and began staring at the ground. Deputies contacted the male subject, identified as Creek, and said they thought he was extremely nervous. Creek's hands were twitching, he had difficulty standing still and was moving his head from side to side. Deputies questioned Creek regarding having any illegal items and Creek allegedly admitted to having three meth pipes. Deputies found Creek in possession of three glass pipes with residue and a plastic bag containing a white crystal residue. Creek was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jeremy Paul Stedman, 30, of Kingman Jan. 21 for felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies responded to a report of a male subject slumped over the steering wheel of a parked vehicle at the corner of Northern Avenue and Castle Rock Road around 10:55 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies observed the male subject exit the vehicle and appear to be disoriented. A search of Stedman allegedly revealed a metal pipe with burnt residue and a plastic bag containing marijuana. Stedman was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Thomas C. Claw III, 19, of Kingman Jan. 22 for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, and driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the area of Stockton Hill Road and College Drive around 2 a.m. The vehicle was reportedly traveling at 52 miles per hour in a posted 35 mph zone. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Northern Avenue and Sierra Road and contacted Claw, the driver. A records check showed Claw's license to be suspended. He was arrested without incident. A search of Claw reportedly revealed a plastic bag containing marijuana, and a search of the vehicle revealed two marijuana pipes. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Gregory Wayne Rodgers, 22, of Kingman Jan. 22 for felony possession of drug paraphernalia, along with driving on a suspended license and two probation violation warrants issued by Kingman Municipal Court, misdemeanors. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Patsy Drive and Ryan Avenue around 11:49 a.m. and contacted the driver, identified as Rodgers. A records check showed Rodgers' license to be suspended and that he had two warrants. Rodgers was arrested without incident and allegedly found to be in possession of a pipe with burnt residue. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
