Martha Ann Blankenburg was born on March 23, 1933, in Albion, Mich. She passed away on Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, in Kingman at the age of 77.
Martha was known by her family and friends as Marty and Ma B. She worked at Kellogg's for 20 years before retiring in 1995.
Martha moved to Kingman in 2005 and was involved with many different organizations including the Belles of St. Mary's, St. Vincent de Paul, Knights of Columbus and the Red Hat Society.
She loved to cook and bake, and also made hats and blankets for the less-fortunate and the Advice and Aid Pregnancy Center.
Martha is survived by her four children, Steven Blankenburg, Mary Parson, Carl Blankenburg and Karen Seckler. She also has 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, at the Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave., Kingman.
A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 302 E. Spring St.
