A 15-year-old boy suffered injuries to his leg after it became pinned underneath an Arctic Cat side-by-side that had tipped Monday. Kingman Fire Battalion Chief Bill Johnston said the teenager and his friend were in the area of Broken Arrow and Southern Avenue around 11:20 a.m. when the vehicle ran over a rock and tipped, pinning the driver's ankle between the door and the ground. The boy was wearing a seatbelt. Johnston said crews used the Jaws of Life to free his leg rather than just lifting the vehicle because of risk of further injuries. The other boy, also 15, only suffered minor injuries.
