Kingman Police arrested Joshua Gene Gardner, 18, and Christopher David Griffin, 23, both of Golden Valley, on June 21 on felony charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor charge of using fireworks in the city limits. Officers contacted Gardner and Griffin around 2:30 p.m. after they were seen lighting off a smoke bomb at Centennial Park. After being arrested for the fireworks violation, they were allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana and the associated drug paraphernalia. Both were booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Mohave County Sheriff's Sex Offender Registration Officer arrested James Rodney Keller, 63, of Dolan Springs on June 21 for felony failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements. The Sheriff's Office reportedly attempted to make contact with Keller numerous times at a residence in the 17900 block of Mount Tipton Drive without success. At about 11:38 a.m., the Sex Offender Registration Officer contacted inmate Keller at the Mohave County Jail. During conversations with Keller, he said that he had been staying off and on at a friend's house and at his girlfriend's house. He was booked on the above listed charge.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jarrod Lee Ferrante, 29, of Kingman June 22 for felony aggravated assault per domestic violence. Deputies were dispatched to a call regarding a delayed assault that occurred earlier at a residence in the 2300 block of East Leroy Avenue. Deputies contacted the 25-year-old female victim, who said that day was the third time Ferrante, her husband, had beaten her up within the past week. The victim further reported that last night was the worst when he was choking her. Ferrante was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Mohave County Sheriff's detectives arrested Joseph Michael Denubilo, 27, of Kingman June 22 for felony theft of means of transportation. Detectives observed a motorcycle traveling on Thomas Avenue with no visible license plate and conducted a traffic stop in the area of John L Avenue and Jimmie Drive around 3:30 p.m. Deputies contacted the operator, identified as Denubilo. Detectives knew of a stolen motorcycle reported two days prior. A computer check on the VIN showed the motorcycle was recently stolen. During conversations with Denubilo, he said that a friend brought the motorcycle to him recently to work on the engine. He was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The motorcycle was released to the owner.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Bo James Boone, 29, and his 28-year-old girlfriend, both of Kingman, June 26. Boone was arrested for aggravated assault per domestic violence, felony. The girlfriend was arrested for misdemeanor assault per domestic violence. Deputies responded to a domestic violence call at a residence in the 2900 block of Ames Avenue around 1:15 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the girlfriend. She said Boone choked her. Deputies observed red marks on her neck. Deputies contacted Boone, who said he woke up to his girlfriend punching him in the face. Deputies contacted a witness who said they were both punching one another after Boone grabbed the girl by the throat. Both were arrested, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Mohave County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Units responded to the Hualapai Mountains June 27 after receiving a report of a missing hiker. The reporting party said that he and his wife are from Bullhead City and were camping at the RV Park in the Hualapai Mountains when his 70-year-old wife left the campsite to go for a hike around 7 p.m. He called police when she didn't return by dark. Search and Rescue Units from Kingman were deployed to conduct a ground search. They located the woman just before midnight in the area of Potato Patch Loop in good health. She said she got lost and waited for help when she ran out of daylight.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Marc Adam Keeling, 28, of Kingman June 29 for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, and a failure to pay fines misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. Deputies contacted two male subjects just after midnight as they were walking in the area of North Benton Street and North Neal Avenue. A records check showed one of the subjects, identified as Keeling, to have an outstanding warrant. He was arrested without incident. A search of Keeling reportedly revealed a small plastic bag containing marijuana located inside his front pocket of his shorts. The marijuana weighed less than a half-ounce. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
