KINGMAN - Two boys ages 16 and 13 face felony drug charges after a police officer walked in on them using drugs last weekend.
Kingman Police Capt. Rusty Cooper said the officer walked into a restroom at Centennial Park around 5:20 p.m. Saturday and observed the teenagers crushing pills on the counter.
Cooper said the pills were determined to be narcotic pain medication.
The 16-year-old was also reportedly found to be in possession of tobacco and marijuana. He was also found to have a parole violation hold issued by the juvenile division of the Department of Corrections and was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
The 13-year-old was charged and released to the custody of a parent.
