River Cities United Way Kingman recently donated $62,000 split for 13 programs run by 11 local agencies. United Way raises funds for local groups, mostly through workplace campaigns. There are currently 21 such campaigns in Kingman. The agencies that received help are the Advice and Aid Pregnancy Center, Boys and Girls Club of Kingman, Kingman Aid to Abused People, Kingman Area Food Bank, Kingman Resource Center, NAU Gerontology Institute through the NAU Foundation Inc./Senior Corps Program, Salvation Army Kingman Corps, Sarah's House, Social Services Interagency Council, Special Olympics and St. Mary's Food Bank.
