Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Thomas Preston Claudio, 31, of Kingman Tuesday for possession of dangerous drugs, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, along with an active warrant. Deputies contacted a male subject later identified as Claudio riding a bicycle in the 4300 block of Baker Drive around 5 p.m. A records check showed Claudio to have a failure to pay fines misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. A search of Claudio allegedly found two plastic bags containing a white crystal substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Both bags were reportedly located in the shorts Claudio was wearing. During conversations with Claudio, he allegedly said a friend named "Randy" loaned him the shorts to wear. Claudio was booked into the jail.
