Kingman Police arrested Sonny J. McComas, 19, and Jessica J. Massey, 18, both of Kingman, Wednesday on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers responded around 3:20 p.m. to a report of suspicious activity at an abandoned/foreclosed home in the 1800 block Miami Ave. Neighbors reported that the home is vacant and should not be occupied. Officers arrived and heard people inside the home who refused to respond to officers. Officers entered the home and discovered McComas and Massey allegedly using methamphetamine. It was determined that the two had forced entry into the vacant home. Both were booked into the Mohave County Jail. Trespass charges are pending.
Mohave County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Mark E. Lewellen, 48, of Golden Valley Thursday for felony burglary and trafficking in stolen property. Deputies responded to the 3300 block of Kelvin Road in Golden Valley for a report of items being illegally removed over a period of several days. During the investigation, it was learned that Lewellen was entering the property and a trailer on the property in absence of the owner and removing items without permission. Contact was made with Lewellen, who allegedly admitted that he was removing items from the property. He was arrested and transported to the Mohave County Jail.
