KINGMAN

Physician/Healthcare Presenters and the Arizona Regional Extension Center are offering a free seminar to help doctors serving Medicare and Medicaid patients get federal grant dollars to pay for the cost to make the move to digital records.

The meeting is at 6 p.m. Thursday at Mohave Community College, Room 210, 3400 Highway 95 in Bullhead City.

Hualapai Mountain Medical Center is offering a Pre- Operative Knee Replacement Education Program at 1 p.m. today at HMMC, 3801 Santa Rosa Drive, Conference Room A.

The presentation is by Lisa Alexander,PT,PDT,CCI.

Neil Turner, Warden of the Arizona State Prison Complex in Kingman will be the guest speaker when the Kingman Republican Men's Club meets at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Elks Lodge, 900 Gates Ave. Several of Turner's staff will also be present.

They will address the past and future of the prison, and talk about security upgrades in response to last year's escape. They have also been asked to give an idea of how prisoners are classified by DOC and how inmates for Kingman are chosen. They will take questions from the audience at the conclusion of the talk.
