Domestic violence seminar free to public

KINGMAN - Kingman First Assembly of God's "Stop Violence in Families" Ministry will hold an educational seminar on domestic violence for clergy, church leaders and the community from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 24 at Kingman First Assembly's Youth Center, 1850 Gates Ave.

The seminar is free and open to the public; childcare will not be provided.

Guest speakers will include Capt. Rusty Cooper, Kingman Police Department; Rhonda Chastain, director, Mohave County Attorney's Office; Suzanne Clarke, director, Kingman Aid to Abused People; Jamie Hicks, faith-based Christian counselor; and more.

Questions and answers, along with the DVD "Broken Vows," a series on religious perspectives on domestic violence, are included.
