Kingman domestic violence seminar to be held today

KINGMAN - First Assembly of God's "Stop Violence in Families" ministry will hold an educational seminar on domestic violence for clergy, church leaders and the community from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Kingman First Assembly's Youth Center, 1850 Gates Ave. The seminar is free and is open to the public. Childcare will not be provided.

Guest speakers will include Capt. Rusty Cooper, Kingman Police Department; Rhonda Chastain, director, Mohave County Attorney's Office; Suzanne Clarke, director, Kingman Aid to Abused People; Jamie Hicks, faith-based Christian counselor; and more.

Questions and answers, along with a DVD "Broken Vows," a series on religious perspectives on domestic violence, are included.
