Parks offers wrestling classes

KINGMAN - Parks and Recreation is holding various wrestling classes during the summer. Classes are from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at White Cliffs Middle School, 3550 Prospector Road. Cost is $10 per participant Session II is from July 5-15 and Session III is July 18-Aug. 5. The classes are open to incoming grades K-12 and will stress the fundamentals of folkstyle wrestling, including takedowns, escapes, reversals and pinning moves. 8-ball pool tournament upcoming

KINGMAN - The Kingman Pool Players are getting ready for the Fourth of July 8-ball tournament at the Mohave County Fairgrounds. Signups begin at 10 a.m. and cost $20. There will be lots of prizes and raffles, and the annual fireworks show will cap off the event.
