Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District, with the assistance of the Kingman Fire Department, were able to save two neighboring homes from a fire complicated by extreme amounts of debris. NACFD Fire Chief Pat Moore said by the time firefighters arrived around 9:45 a.m. Monday, the burning mobile home in the 3100 block of Snavely Avenue was more than half-involved. Firefighters concentrated on saving two neighboring homes to the east and west. They were able to save both homes, with minor damage to one home's porch and patio. The occupants of the burning home exited safely before crews arrived. Moore said it was fortunate no one was injured because of the amount of debris that fed the fire and helped it spread rapidly.
