Shirley Ann (Goss) Bolsem, 76, of Kingman went home to be with Jesus on Friday, March 11, 2011. Shirley was born in Guthrie County, Iowa, on Nov. 7, 1934, to Merle and Bessie Goss, but spent a good deal of her life in Arizona.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Mathew "Bud" Bolsem; and her sister, Daphene (Goss) Long. She is survived by her two daughters, Kay Ellen Martinez (Nick) of Bagdad, Ariz., and Karol Bolsem-Meehan of Kingman; and her grandchildren, Amanda (Gannon) Hembree (Justin), Daniel Gannon, Michael, Mathew and Kaylee Meehan, and a grand-dog, Dexter. She is also survived by her nephews, Ron (Karen) and Charles (Cheri) Long, and lots of great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Words cannot express how much she will be missed by her family and friends, but we are comforted knowing she's finally home, in a beautiful place where there is no pain or suffering.
A memorial service is pending.
