Judith "Judy" Ann Bauer Miller, 63, of Erie, Pa., died peacefully on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, after a brief illness in Kingman. She was surrounded by many loving family members. She was born Jan. 6, 1948 in Erie.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard "Bud" Lawrence Bauer; and grandson, Kristofer Miller.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Jelinek Bauer; and husband of 27 years, Dan P. Miller (K3UFG), son, Gordon Bauer and his wife, Kara; stepson, Larry Miller and his wife, Sheri; stepdaughters, Sheila McGlynn and Christina Hodson; seven grandchildren; six sisters and five brothers; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Judy graduated from Villa Maria Academy in 1965 and belonged to Blessed Sacrament Church in Erie and St. Mary's Church in Kingman.
She was an amateur radio operator (K1UFG), a member of the American Radio Relay League and the Radio Association of Erie.
Judy was a very giving person and her final wishes were to donate her body to science.
