Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested John E. Jackson, 30, of Golden Valley Oct. 30 for aggravated assault per domestic violence, criminal damage per domestic violence, and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Deputies responded to a domestic violence call at a residence in the 8200 block of West Agua Fria Drive around 9:30 p.m. and contacted the 31-year-old female victim. She said she asked Jackson, her boyfriend, a question and he threw a fit. She said Jackson kicked the front door, damaging it, and that he took a knife from the sink and threw it at her. The victim added that Jackson went outside and slashed her vehicle tires and smashed the windows. She said Jackson left after that on foot. Deputies observed a damaged vehicle, damaged cellular phone and damaged door jambs at the residence. At about 11:18 p.m., deputies located Jackson walking on Milky Way near Chino Drive where he was arrested without incident. Deputies reportedly found Jackson to be in possession of a pipe with burnt residue. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Tina Nichole Yost, 32, of Kingman Nov. 2 for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, and a warrant. Deputies conducted a traffic stop around noon on a vehicle with a smashed windshield in the 2700 block of Northfield Avenue and contacted the driver and the passenger. Deputies said they thought the passenger was trying to avoid interaction. The passenger, later identified as Yost, said that she had a warrant, which a records check confirmed. Yost was arrested without incident. Deputies reportedly found Yost in possession of a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance which field-tested positive for methamphetamine. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The driver was issued an equipment repair order for the windshield.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested John Lancaster McGirl, 27, of Kingman Nov. 3 for felony possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies conducted a traffic stop around 11:30 p.m. in the 4400 block of Charles Drive. A records check showed the driver did not have a valid driver's license. Deputies contacted the passenger, identified as McGirl. McGirl consented to a search, and deputies reportedly located a plastic bag containing a white substance. The substance field-tested positive for methamphetamine. McGirl was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The driver was cited and released.
