David Preston and his grandson, Derek Jones, prepare Christmas lights for display at 661 Mountain Shadow Road on Saturday. The annual display at his house is a tradition that brings many people out each year to observe the lights at night. Preston's kids and grandkids volunteer to help out, while Preston hires some help for the more difficult-to-reach areas. There will be over 50,000 lights on display at his house this year. The lights went on Thanksgiving night and will light up the neighborhood through New Year's night.
