Luv of Paws host annual yard sale

KINGMAN - For the Luv of Paws, a domestic animal rescue and sanctuary, holds its 4th Annual Paul Bunyan of Yard Sales from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday in the Feathered Friends parking lot, 2845 Airway Ave.

Donations can be dropped off at the Paws-itively Charming Thrift Shop, 204 N. 4th St.

Elks Charity Ball is this Saturday

KINGMAN - Kingman Elks Lodge No. 468 annual Charity Ball starts at 6 p.m. Saturday in the lodge, 900 Gates Ave.

A choice of two dinners, steak or chicken, will be offered for $17.50 per person or $30 per couple.

This annual event helps fund for the lodge's Christmas Basket and Santa's Visit programs.

The theme is "The Swinging 40s," and entertainment will be furnished by DJ Don West. A 50/50 raffle and silent auction will be held.
