Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Boudewyn Ronald Hanss, 57, of Kingman Sept. 23 for felony burglary. Deputies responded to a 911 call at a residence in the 3600 block of Packard Avenue around 4:10 p.m. and contacted the reporting party, a 66-year-old male victim. The victim said that when he got home he found the door to his bedroom was open and his computer monitor was gone. The man said he learned from his roommate that Hanss entered his locked bedroom door and took his monitor. Deputies contacted the roommate and she verified the victim's statements. Deputies contacted Hanss in the 3300 block of Central Street later that day. During conversations with Hanss, he allegedly said that he took the monitor because the victim owes him a hard drive. Hanss was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The computer monitor was recovered.
Mohave County Sheriff's detectives arrested Kody Joseph Lehman, 26, of Kingman Sept. 23 for felony possession of dangerous drugs. Detectives contacted a male subject riding a bicycle southbound on Jimmie Drive near Northfield Avenue around 7:30 p.m. The male subject identified himself as Lehman. Detectives allegedly observed Lehman to be agitated and nervous. A consent search of Lehman reportedly revealed a plastic bag containing a crystal substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine. Lehman was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Shawn J Woodfin, 33, of Kingman Sept. 23 for possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, and driving with a suspended license, misdemeanor. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Thompson Avenue at Jimmie Drive around 10:50 a.m. and contacted Woodfin, the driver. A records check showed Woodfin to have a suspended license. Woodfin was arrested without incident. A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a scale with white residue and three plastic bags containing a white crystal substance which weighed approximately 4.7 grams in total. The substance field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Woodfin was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested James Edward Wendland, 33, of Kingman Monday for felony possession of drug paraphernalia, false reporting to law enforcement, a failure to appear warrant issued by Kingman Municipal Court and a contempt of court warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. Deputies contacted a male subject outside of a residence in the 2500 block of Ames Avenue around 12:17 p.m. The male subject reportedly falsely identified himself. Eventually, deputies determined the male subject's identity to be Wendland. During conversations with Wendland, he said that he didn't want to be arrested on his warrants. A records check showed Wendland to have outstanding warrants. Wendland was arrested without incident. A search of Wendland reportedly revealed a glass pipe with residue. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
