KRMC hosts Oct. "Lunch and Learn"

KINGMAN - Dr. Joseph Tedesco, D.O., will discuss "Minimal Invasive Surgery" when Kingman Regional Medical Center hosts Lunch & Learn starting at noon Wednesday, in the Del E. Webb Wellness Center, 1719 E. Beverly.

Tedesco is an Obstetrics/Gynecology specialist. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Tedesco attended medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio; and completed his residency at Sandusky Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky, Ohio; and Phoenix General Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.

Lunch & Learn seminars are free. Participants bring their own lunch and KRMC provides a beverage and dessert. To ensure enough seating and desserts, please contact KRMC's Public Relations at 681-8514 to make a reservation.

Chili cook-off set in Dolan Springs

DOLAN SPRINGS - A chili cook-off hosted by the Dolan Springs Chamber of Commerces starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Tipton School, with judging at 3 p.m.

A fundraising softball game between Mt. Tipton School staff and the Lake Mohave Rancho-Grapevine Mesa Fire District is also planned.

Republican Forum fundraiser Oct. 22

KINGMAN - An elegant luncheon with raffles and door prizes is promised when the Mohave County Republican Forum "Fall into Spring with Dillards" fundraiser is held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the Kingman Elks Lodge.

Food for the event will be prepared by the culinary staff of Morrison, formerly at Hualapai Mountain Medical Center.

The Kingman Unified School District is holding a dedication ceremony and open house at the recently completed Lee Williams High School at 5 p.m. Friday at 400 Grandview Ave. in downtown Kingman.

Members of the public are welcome and the celebration will take place in the cafeteria.
