Free dental care for vets on Nov. 10

KINGMAN - Veterans Day is just around the corner, and that means Lowry Family Dentistry plans to provide free screenings for veterans on Nov. 10 for the second-straight year.

From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the office of Dr. Jason Lowry, is offering free dental examinations, X-rays and oral cancer screenings to veterans and all active servicemen. Opportunities to receive free cleanings will be available as well, depending on how many people show up.

Last year, the day was booked all the way through, said Dental Assistant Starla Snider.

"We didn't stop all day," she said.

The nearest Veterans Affairs dental facility is in Prescott, and it's hard for many local vets to get there for dental care, Snider said.

That's why Lowry's office hopes to hold this promotion every year around Veterans Day.

To get in on the free dental care, call (928) 753-5069 to schedule an appointment or visit the office at 1730 E. Beverly Ave.
