AGFD announces new chief instructors for Ariz. Hunter Education

The Arizona Game & Fish Department announced that veteran hunter education instructors Bob Shaw and Jim Rich have been appointed to the position of chief instructors for the Region III (Kingman) team.

Shaw, who lives in Kingman, has been very active in the hunter education program as a member on the board of directors for the Mohave Sportsman Club. He is also the co-archery director for the MSC.

Rich, who lives in Mohave Valley, has been teaching hunter education classes in both Kingman and in the river communities.

The responsibilities of the chief instructors include organizing and overseeing the regular resident classes, supplemental classes for non-residents and the online field days.

Rich will be in charge of the Kingman team's next online field day, which will be held on Nov. 5 at the Mohave Sportsman Club's 7 Mile Hill Range.
