Kingman Letter: Thanks for help with my flat tire

On March 27 at a little after 5 p.m., I turned onto Gordon Drive, heard a loud pop, then realized I had a flat tire. I pulled over in front of La Senita School and a car immediately pulled up next to us and asked if we needed help.

While I was pulling over, I was thinking I didn't want to call my husband, not only because he was at home, 20 minutes away, but it was his birthday.

Also, the friend I was driving and I were on the way to Kingman High School for a Red Hat-Purple Prose Appreciation Cocktail Hour and we were dress up, hats and all.

Two gentlemen jumped out of the car to help while the nice woman driving waited. I thanked them and shook their hands, but I wanted to thank them publicly for their generosity of time and manpower. They got us to our function on time.
