Student Rotarian: Savanna Weninger

Savanna Weninger, 18, a senior at Kingman High School was recently selected to be a Student Rotarian by the Kingman Rotary Club. She is the daughter of Mark and Lori Weninger of Kingman.

Savanna said she was honored to be selected as the Student Rotarian and very thankful for the honor. She has received science and math awards, is in the National Honor Society, a member of Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA), is involved in volleyball and golf, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), and is a hospital volunteer and lifeguard. For her presentation to the Rotary Club her topic was working as lifeguard.

Savanna is currently enrolled in the fall semester at the University of Arizona. She is majoring in physiology and is pre-med. She plans to go into the medical field and become a physician.
