Kingman Letters:This is a women's issue

On April 28, there will be a protest at the state capital. Women across the country have had enough of the "war" that is being waged against women.

Since 2010 over 900 laws have been introduced that directly affect women, from abortion to "redefining" rape. We have Congress debating birth control with no women on their "panel." We hear politicians say that men should make more than women because they need the money more. All the GOP candidates for president say they will de-fund Planned Parenthood, cut funding for WIC and a few would like to outlaw birth control.

Where are the jobs we were told only they could create? Right now our state legislators are trying to pass a bill that gives employers the "right" to ask women employees if they use birth control. So much for the party of less government.

Join us in Phoenix from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or go to the court house in Kingman. This isn't a left or right issue, this is a women's issue. Stand up and say "no more." Let all the politicians know that we vote and we want jobs not the American version of Sharia Law.
