Kingman man attacked outside of home

Police looking for two unknown assailants

KINGMAN - The Kingman Police Department is investigating an attack on a Kingman man by two unknown assailants.

At 3 a.m. on April 27, officers responded to a report of an aggravated assault in the 3400 block of Diamond Street. A 50-year-old man reported that he was backing his vehicle out when he felt something hit it.

He then noticed a light on the south side of the home near the garage. When he went to investigate, he was allegedly hit in the face with a rock. Two subjects then attacked him. During the scuffle, the man's attackers allegedly held him from behind, threw him to the ground and then punched and stabbed him with a screwdriver or small pocket knife.

The man's assailants then fled on foot.

The victim suffered injuries to his face, upper chest and left arm. He was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center. Police are investigating. Anyone with information on the attack should contact KPD at (928) 753-2191.
