Nobody wants to be sick during the holidays, but it happens. Luckily for Kingman residents, there are many businesses and organizations that make an extra effort to spread holiday cheer during December. Maurice's is one of the many organizations that provide plush animals to children in the hospital throughout the holiday season. KRMC would also like to recognize American Woodmark as the winner of this year's "Go Pink" Challenge. American Woodmark's employees wore pink, dyed their beards pink and raised over $200 for the Kingman Cancer Care Unit during this year's challenge. Each year, KRMC awards a local business a light-up pink ribbon to display each October for breast cancer awareness.
