Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Charles Robert Wood, 69, of Seymour, Texas, early Dec. 11 on an outstanding warrant. Deputies received information regarding a suspicious person who was possibly a wanted felon. Deputies contacted the male subject in the 1900 block of Andy Devine Avenue. He was identified as Wood and a records check showed him to have a fugitive from justice felony warrant issued out of Tarrant County Justice Court in Texas. He was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Corry Scott Johnstone, 29, of Kingman on Dec. 14 on two felony counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies responded around 7:20 a.m. to a disturbance at a residence in the 2300 block of Ames Avenue. The reporting party said that Johnstone, her mom's ex-boyfriend, entered their residence carrying a baseball bat. She said that Johnstone fled out the back door when deputies arrived. Shortly thereafter, deputies located Johnstone hiding outside and he was detained. A search of Johnstone reportedly yielded two glass pipes with residue. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Eric Thomas Patterson, 23, of Kingman on Dec. 14 for felony burglary. The investigation began Dec. 6 when a residence in the 3800 block of East John L Avenue was broken into. The victim reported the following items stolen; a flat-screen television, a DVD player, a radio and a DVD movie. Patterson was located at a residence in the 1700 block of Chicago Avenue. During conversations with Patterson, he allegedly admitted to taking the television from the residence. He was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
