On Dec. 8, Girl Scout Troop 2074 spent the day volunteering at Keepers of the Wild, helping to clean llama areas and monkey cages. Some of the girls spent the day cutting up meat for the lions and tigers and others spent time with the birds and the reptiles. The day ended with the girls working on a new habitat area and raking leaves. The day was enjoyed by all. The girls learned the value of volunteering and how important and loving the animals really are.
