Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Thomas Topete, 31, of Kingman Dec. 21 for felony possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and a failure to pay fines misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. Deputies reportedly observed a wanted person, Topete, standing in a driveway in the 3800 block of Northern Avenue around 9 p.m. He was arrested without incident. A search of Topete allegedly yielded a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine. During conversations with Topete, he said the pants he was wearing belonged to his brother. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Brian Lee Dittmer, 19, of Seligman Dec. 21 on a felony warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia issued by Kingman Justice Court and driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Deputies reportedly observed a vehicle traveling about 25 miles per hour through a four-way stop at the intersection of Melody Street and Thompson Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Hearne Avenue and Melody Street and contacted Dittmer, the driver. A records check showed Dittmer to have an outstanding warrant and a suspended license. He was arrested without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. He was also cited for the stop sign violation and no mandatory insurance.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested David Ray Crandall, 38, of Kingman Saturday for possession of drugs, possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Deputies contacted Crandall around 9:40 p.m. as he was walking in the area of John L Avenue and Norrie Drive. A consent search of Crandall reportedly revealed a plastic bag containing white crystal substance and eight narcotic pills. Crandall was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michelle Lynn Avery, 33, of Kingman Tuesday for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Deputies said they observed a vehicle pull into an empty parking lot in the 2800 block of Northern Avenue around 12:50 a.m. Deputies further observed the vehicle turn off its lights. They pulled their patrol vehicle behind the parked vehicle and contacted the driver, identified Avery, who said she pulled over to use her cell phone. Deputies said they observed Avery to be extremely nervous. They reportedly questioned Avery regarding any illegal items and she advised that her friends had left a syringe in her car. A consent search of Avery's purse allegedly yielded a syringe, a clear cup containing a white residue and a cotton filter. Avery also handed the deputy two folded cardboard bindles from her pocket. The substance in the bindles field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Avery was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
