Geoffrey Boyne Bell, 67, of Kingman passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, in Houston, Texas. He was born Aug. 6, 1944, in Washington, D.C. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Bell and Luella M. Boyne. He has been a resident of Kingman for 20 years, coming here from California.
Geoffrey was a long-haul truck driver; he worked for Raider Trucking for 23 years. Before that, he worked for Snugtop Camper Shells out of Long Beach, Calif. He was a lifetime member of OOIDA. He served in the U.S.M.C. from 1964 to 1968. He was a Vietnam veteran.
Geoffrey is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sandra Bell of Kingman; three daughters, Jessica (Lee) Olson of Kingman, Jennifer (Jose) Garcia of Kingman, and Charlene Bell of Virginia; his son, Jason (Amber) Scott of Kingman; and two grandchildren, Kaileigh Scott and Kabyn Scott.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave. There will be a gathering after the memorial at the Elks Lodge.
