Kingman Letter: Thanks for the care and friendship of Dr. Ismael Bokhari

The family of Butch Esquibel would like to express their deep appreciation for the care and friendship of Dr. Ismael Bokhari over the course of our father's later years. Dr. Bokhari gave our father both professional and compassionate medical care for 26 years, never failing to respond to our family's health issues and concerns.

In our father's final days, Dr. Bokhari was a steady presence, helping us to deal with the challenges that faced our family. We want to express our gratitude to Dr. Bokhari's staff who worked with us to facilitate appointments when each medical crisis arose.

We would also like to thank Dr. Mahmoud and the staff of the Joan and Diana Hospice House for their professionalism and their emotional support. They made our father and our family comfortable during his brief stay there, making the Hospice House a home away from home. The staff welcomed each member of our extended family, supplied us with cookies and coffee and warmed our father with a donated quilt and handmade teddy bear. Their follow-up call was both consoling and compassionate, a reminder that our family is not forgotten by these caring people. We are all thankful for the bereavement support they are offering over the next 18 months.

We are grateful that Kingman has so many caring professionals and a resource like the Joan and Diana Hospice House. Thank you all so very much for making this difficult journey with us. We will never forget your kindness.
