The Kingman Academy girls basketball team improved to 9-0 with a 46-8 win over Phoenix Metro Tech Thursday.

Miranda Ramirez led the Tigers with 10 points while Savannah Searles added seven and Hannah Ramirez had five.

Juleigh Long, Laura Harris and Maddie Stutler each had four points. Jessica Head, Amanda Murphy, Alyssa Holloway and Alex Van Schijndel each added two.

The Tigers jumped to a 19-2 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 36-2 at halftime. KAHS led 42-8 after three.

KAHS will travel to Bullhead City MALC at 6:30 p.m. Monday before returning home Jan. 27 against Phoenix South Ridge.
