Richard S. Riccardi, 73, of Kingman died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, in Kingman. He was born March 23, 1938, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor B. and Mildred; brother, Ronald; niece, Debra; grandson, Nicholas; nephew, Robert; and his beloved dog, Snuffy (smash nose).
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra K. Riccardi; brother, Victor (Carol); sisters, Lorraine (Joe) and Jane (Joe); daughters, Michelle and Roseann (Donald); and sons, Michael (Doreen) and Steven. He is also survived by granddaughters, Candi (The Banana Baby) (Ruben), Karli (The Brat), Jennifer and Christy; grandsons, Dakoda, Steven Jr., Mikey and Christian; his brother-in-law, Robert (Natalie); sister-in-law, Marlene (Jerry); and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He also had nine great-grandkids.
He worked for Duval, Mohave County Sheriff's Office, Valle Vista Fire Department and worked security at several casinos in Nevada. He also did landscaping, which he loved very much.
He loved singing music out loud to whoever would listen.
The celebration of his life will be Tuesday, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. with the services following.
