Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report at the Mohave County Jail June 21 regarding an assault on a detention officer by an inmate. The officer reported that Jonathan Ivan Muldrew, 27, of Needles, Calif., assaulted him. The officer said he was escorting Muldrew from the booking area to a pod floor when Muldrew punched him. He suffered a bloody nose. Deputies contacted Muldrew and charged him with felony aggravated assault on detention officer.

Kingman Police arrested Dustin Eric Green, 25, of Kingman June 23 on a felony charge of domestic violence by aggravated assault. Officers responded around 10:30 p.m. to a disturbance at a residence in the 500 block of Simon Avenue. Officers said the female victim had been choked and assaulted by Green, her boyfriend. Green, who fled prior to police arrival, was located minutes later at a residence in the 500 block of Sunrise Avenue. Police said that when they found Green, he pulled a knife and held it to his neck. A Taser was used after Green reportedly failed to comply with officers' demands. He was arrested without further incident and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Ronnie Lee Royal, 27, of Kingman on Tuesday for felony taking the identify of another. Deputies recently learned that Royal took the identity of another person during a traffic stop in Kingman on June 11. At that time, Royal provided deputies with an Oregon driver's license identifying himself as another person. He was issued a repair order for a cracked windshield. On June 21, Kingman Police Department arrested Royal for theft and false information. Deputies then contacted inmate Royal at the Mohave County Jail. During conversations with Royal, he said he provided his friend's drivers license on June 11 because he wanted to keep his name clear. He was then charged with fraud relating to that stop.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Walter Donald Werth Jr., 62, of Kingman on June 24, for felony resisting arrest and misdemeanor disorderly conduct per domestic violence. Deputies responded around 10:47 p.m. to a domestic violence call at a residence in the 4100 block of North Eagle Drive and contacted the 62-year-old female victim. She said that she and her husband, Werth, were arguing when he grabbed a blow torch and lit it. She said she soaked the roof with a water hose as Werth put the torch to the roof of the porch. During conversations with Werth, he reportedly confirmed having an argument but said that she was accusing him of things he didn't do. He said he never touched the torch. Deputies attempted to calm Werth down, but he reportedly continued to argue. Deputies suggested that Werth leave for the evening, but he refused. As deputies were taking Werth into custody, he allegedly resisted. Once he was detained he was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without further incident.
