Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested James Daniel Carter, 42, of Kingman July 6 for felony possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies conducted a traffic stop around midnight in the area of Norrie Drive and Northern Avenue and contacted the driver, identified as Carter. Deputies reportedly smelled a strong odor of marijuana inside the vehicle.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies allegedly located a small plastic bag containing a white crystal substance, a scale and a glass pipe with burnt marijuana. A field test confirmed the white crystal to be methamphetamine. Carter was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jimmy Alan Harrison, 52, of Golden Valley June 28 for felony possession of drug paraphernalia and a failure to pay fines misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. Deputies transported Harrison to the Mohave County Jail after he was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant. At the jail, deputies reportedly found Harrison to be in possession of a glass pipe with residue. He was booked into the jail with the additional felony charge above.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Robert Vincent Dudek, 41, of Kingman June 28 for felony burglary. Deputies responded around 8 p.m. to a burglary report at a residence in the 2400 block of Hearne Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a 40-year-old woman who said she saw Dudek, her neighbor, walk onto her property and open her car door and take items out of her vehicle.
The woman said she confronted Dudek and he gave her back a pack of cigarettes and some cash. Deputies contacted Dudek, who reportedly said that he reached into the victim's car and picked up a pack of cigarettes. He was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
