Pai Camp 2012 was held at Hualapai County Park last week for several days. Five Pai tribes, including the Hualapai tribe, hold this camp each year to teach tribal youth language, weaving, beading, doll's dressmaking and other skills, along with traditional beliefs. This camp was started because adults became concerned youth were forgetting traditional ways. Above, A.Treal Crook, 8, weaves a scarf for his mother Thursday.
