Kids invited to health & safety fair Saturday

The annual Kingman Regional Medical Center's Kid's Day Health & Safety Fair, sponsored by Deana Nelson State Farm Insurance, is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at KRMC's Medical Professional Center of Kingman. Kids, along with their parents, will be able to visit 40+ organization booths.

A car seat safety check will be provided by the Mohave County Health Department. Kids will be able to get their vision tested, height and weight measured, and immunizations brought up-to-date (don't forget to bring shot records). Volunteers from Arizona Game & Fish will teach the kids about respecting nature and wildlife, the KUSD Little Explorer's Program will be in attendance, and there will be opportunities to get information on summer programs for kids through Kingman Parks and Recreation. Mohave County School Gardening will also be giving demonstrations on gardening.

This fair will include vehicles from Kingman Police Department, Unisource, Kingman Fire Department and a helicopter from Care Flight. Kids can also enjoy the jumping castle donated by R&R Jumps, crafts, and games!

The event is free and open to the public with food, prizes and lots of fun for everyone. Call KRMC Public Relations at (928) 681-8656 for more information.
