Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Burley John Winsor, 29, of Kingman May 25 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful flight from law enforcement, felonies. A deputy in the area of Chloride Road near milepost 2 heard a large vehicle approaching at a high rate of speed around 5:30 p.m. He saw the vehicle passing another vehicle in a no-passing zone, causing the deputy to step off the roadway to avoid being struck. The deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop, following the vehicle down Tennessee Avenue at speeds of 70-80 miles per hour with several pedestrians in the area. The vehicle then came to a stop, almost causing an accident. Winsor, the driver, exited the vehicle and began to run. Winsor refused to comply with deputy commands and he was taken into custody after a brief struggle. He was then transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
