Suzanne Adams and Warren Ockrassa were married on May 29, 2012, at Red Rock State Park in Sedona with Rev. Ken Froessel officiating. The bride, a graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School of Stow, Ohio, and Kent State University, is the daughter of Frank and Mary Ann Adams. She is employed by the Kingman Daily Miner. The groom is the son of Steven and Cindy Ockrassa, and Patricia and Pete Byers.
The bride wore a strapless gown with beading and embroidery, and a chapel train. She had a fingertip veil with crystal beads, and carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas with white lilies and stephanotis. She was attended by matron of honor, Jennifer Bartlett, who wore a strapless gown of pool blue with train and carried a bouquet of fuschia gerber daisies. The bridesmaids, Charlotte Adams, the bride's sister-in-law, and Emily Burkins, soon to be sister-in-law of the bride, wore similar blue gowns and carried similar bouquets as the matron of honor. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Frank Adams.
The best man couldn't attend due to illness so Ms. Alex Burchett stepped in and took his place. The groomsman was Russ Rowen.
The bride's mother wore a pink satin tea length gown with a wrist corsage. The groom's mother wore a blue ankle length dress with a wrist corsage.
A reception was held at Agave of Sedona. The menu included gluten-free spice cake with cream cheese frosting and blue flowers, stuffed portabella mushrooms and curried vegetables. Appetizers and cheese were passed.
The happy couple will live in Kingman.
