Elena M. Castro, 75, of Dolan Springs, Ariz., passed away in Kingman. She was born Feb. 14, 1937, to Paul G. and Onecima C. (Cabral) Maldonado. She will be remembered by her sparkling green eyes and genuine smile as a resident of 34 years in this community. She has touched the lives of many in ways we can individually reflect upon. "Be not burdened with times of sorrow." I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much: good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief."
She is survived by three sons, Robert M. Castro of Phoenix, Perri George Castro of Jacksonville, Fla.; Paul Guadalupe Castro of Truxton, Ariz.; three daughters, Cynthia Chris Castro-Lewis of San Diego, Rose Ann Peripoli of San Diego and Felicia Ann Castro of Long Beach, Calif.; one brother, Joseph Delgado Jr. of West Covina, Calif.; three sisters, Stella Santillan of Pico Rivera, Calif., Linda Marie Delgado of Irwindale, Calif., and Susan Delgado of Baldwin Park, Calif. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Ross Castro.
