KINGMAN - The team of Micah Jones and his brother Derrick put together a stringer of big bass from Lake Havasu to easily win the Kingman Bass Club's monthly tournament.
The Jones' brothers had a five fish limit that included the tournament's largest fish, a lunker that weighed 5.25 pounds. Their limit weighed 17.30 pounds.
Second place went to Marvin Carter and Mike Baldwin, who had a limit that weighed 16.07 pounds.
Third place was won by the father/son team of Dave Hilton II and Dave Hilton III with 15.96 pounds.
Fourth place was won by Ryan Chan and John Howell, who checked in with 15.92 pounds, barely edging out Shane Moline and Tina Kennedy, who had 15.89 pounds. To show just how good the fishing was, 13 of the 15 teams checked in a five fish limit of largemouth and smallmouth bass. All were released after the weigh in.
The club's next tournament will be on April 15 at Princess Cove on Lake Mohave.
