Golden Valley officials said a three-car accident on Highway 68 Tuesday afternoon was caused by a car that turned in front of a westbound truck. The force of that collision sent the first car into a minivan waiting at a stop sign on Milky Way Road. Golden Valley Fire Chief Tom O'Donohue said the driver of the pickup was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center for suspected trauma injuries due to the high-speed impact. A mother and her two children were also transported to KRMC for evaluation of minor injuries. The driver of the minivan reportedly refused treatment at the scene even though she was struck by her van's airbag.
