Two people were killed as the result of in a traffic accident in Golden Valley that authorities said was caused when an SUV cut off the motorcycle the woman was riding.
The SUV did not stop after the wreck, according to the Department of Public Safety.
The accident occurred on Highway 68 at Brice Road just before 9:30 p.m. Friday.
Wendy Lynn Robinson was a passenger on the back of a late model Ultra Classic Harley Davidson motorcycle headed west on Highway 68 when an SUV made a U-turn in front of the riders, according to the Golden Valley Fire Department and DPS.
Robinson died at the scene.
The driver of the motorcycle, identified by DPS as Steve Russo, 53, of Golden Valley, "laid the motorcycle down" as a result of the SUV's abrupt turn.
Russo was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center and later transported to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas. Sunrise initially reported that Russo was discharged Sunday. Family members confirmed Tuesday that Russo died over the weekend after being taken off of life support.
