Kingman Regional Medical Center will be hosting a bone marrow drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 3 in the Del E Webb Wellness Center conference rooms, 1719 Beverly Ave.
Participants will have the opportunity to be tested for bone marrow matching using a swabbing technique that is easy and painless.
In addition, they can sign up to volunteer or donate to "Be the Match," the organization that coordinates bone marrow matching. Thousands of patients across the country depend on the Be the Match Registry to find a donor who can give them the chance for a cure.
To be a bone marrow donor, individuals need to be between the ages of 18 and 44, be willing to donate to any patient in need at any time and meet the health guidelines.
